Umm death..Are you ready for it?

So I've been thinking about death alot since returning from Asia this summer, i'm not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with my experiences in Asia or a combination of other things. Either way, like i said in an earlier post, "We have all been diagnosed with a terminal illness(called: our bodies will fail us one day illness) so why not decide today to make sure everyday is not wasted."

Most of us walk around pretending that death is something that only happens to others. Why do we do that? Now i'm not saying that we should go around thinking about death 24/7. I'm simply saying that it's important that we realize that this earth is not our home and any day, any minute, any second, we will disappear.

Have a blessed day. Chizzy D

There are times, such thoughts do come into my mind...but just like i was taught in deliverance class, i rebuke it seriously IJN... .*laughing*...seriously, i do wonder how it would happen & what happens after...but for now, i just try to live a day at a time & be grateful to be ALIVE...shalom.

You're so right, often we leave as if this is our home and consume ourselves with buying and getting, yet our time here is limited and we could get a "deportation order" from earth anytime.

Sad to think of it in some ways but we have to make sure our lives are right before God at all times and live with eternity in mind.

I find I think about it more as I get older and as more people I know die or lose loved ones. I am actually focusing on living so when i die there is no fear but joy to be with the father. It is certain.

"I am actually focusing on living so when i die there is no fear but joy to be with the father. It is certain."

thot provoking. basically i tink its important to maximise each day while we still can and be all we can while alive since we have no control over what, when, how and where of death
